Adelaide

New York credits include Richard Vetere's One Shot One Kill (nominated for a Pulitzer Prize) at Primary Stages and directed by Joe Brancato, as well as turns at Circle Repertory Company, Ensemble Studio Theatre and Irish Arts Center. Regional theatre appearances include Tryst and To Kill a Mockingbird at Alley Theatre, along with appearances at McCarter Theatre, Portland Stage Company, Hangar Theatre and most recently, Penguin Rep. On television she has been on “The Sopranos,” “Guiding Light” and “Spin City,” in addition to the independent film, Love Ludlow.

Playwright

Karoline's first play was an adaptation of The Snow Queen for Orchard Theatre, in 1989. She was Artistic Director of Bootstrap Theatre for three seasons. Her first full length play The Mysterious Mr. Love was produced in 1997 at the Comedy Theatre in the West End. It received its first US performance in 2000, at Penguin Rep. Her first book, In the Shadow of the Dreamchild: A New Understanding of Lewis Carroll, was published in 1999, and created a considerable controversy when it claimed that Carroll's biography was more myth than fact. Tryst premiered Off-Broadway in 2006.

Director

Joe is the Founding Artistic Director of Penguin Rep in Stony Point, Rockland County, NY, where he recently directed the NY premiere of Joel Drake Johnson's The Fall to Earth starring Tony Award winner Michele Pawk. Named by The New York Times as "one of America's most insightful directors,” Joe directed the NY premiere of Tryst at Promenade Theatre produced by Morton Wolkowitz, as well as the Drama Desk Award-winning Cobb by Lee Blessing produced by Kevin Spacey at Lucille Lortel Theatre and Falcon Theatre in L.A. His Off-Broadway credits include From Door to Door; The Devil’s Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith; One Shot, One Kill; 21/2 Jews; Last Romeo; My Italy Story; Escape from Happiness starring Marsha Mason; The Big Swing starring Madeline Kahn, Sarah Jessica Parker and Marisa Tomei; Christopher Hampton's Treats; and William Mastrosimone's The Understanding. Others include NYSF, Naked Angels, Melting Pot, Primary Stages and regionally at Seattle Repertory Theatre, Hartford Stage, Houston's Alley Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Boston's New Repertory Theatre and Hartford’s Theatreworks.
