The restaurant was named Seminara's as a tribute to David's mother Leda and Grandparents, Giuseppa & Fransesco, from whom he inherited his love for good food and the philosophy that nothing was too good for family and friends. A tradition of striving for excellence was passed on from father to daughter to grandson. David and his wife Victoria have personalized that philosophy to include their customers. David and Victoria (both graduates of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America) have created a unique mix of traditional family recipes and new variations which, while utilizing ingredients not available in Sicily, still capture the heart and soul of its culinary tradition.
