A Vision of Education
Our hope is to enrich the experience of each audience member through the art of storytelling. We strive to create a meaningful community dialogue, challenging the perceptions and expectations for each participant by opening their eyes to diverse cultures and new challenges through theatre.
Creating the Next Generation of Artists
Practical experience is a must in the theatre industry. Academic experience is insufficient for students to make a successful transition into the theatre profession. That's why since 1946 the Playhouse has provided professional training through an aggressive, hands-on internship program. Interns are not only immersed in their chosen field, they are given the tools they'll need to become future leaders in the industry. Your work with a community of dedicated theatre professionals will be rewarded with superior resume experience, professional connections and college credit.
